As a "long-necked" player, I have experienced many different set-up combinations over 40 years. Some helped for a while; others just increased my tension habits. Our bodies change, particularly in the teen years, but also later in life. We need to find a balanced way of supporting the instrument to promote ease and freedom of movement.
